Snezhana Reizen is an interdisciplinary artist, improviser, and composer of experimental electronic music.
Was born in Poltava, Ukraine, studied in the Jazz school in Saint-Petersburg, left for the "outplace"... has been active in the improvisational music scene since 2003, participating in art festivals and collectives, a co-founder of the music label "Abstand."
following some specific routes appearing within the everyday environment, i am woandering for the obscure possibilities in sonic materiality.
its fractals, its structure
extracted from various media, such as radio, electricity discharges, magnetic fields, just fields, feedbacks, crazy highlights and inept intervals in sound synthesis, digital errors, etc. the material then goes through the transmutation phase with a multilayered procession in improvisational live sets.
the resulting themes evolve into
the series of audio and audio-visual works and journeys.

It's experimental electroacoustics with a focus on sonic micro-events as artifacts, exposing the nerve of the imaginary.
Voltage
the basic sound source for this series is the noise that appears between unconnected wires with a radio antenna as a medium, conductor and accentuator of electricity discharges and flows, this material is combined with itself, but processed in a live session with slight shiftings in time/speed/freq/resonance.
a visual part is a particle simulation made with audio-reactive pattern in unreal engine.
