a series of works in spoken word which is concerned with a broad spectrum of topics around language and otherness, seeking to reexamine the very essence of some core concepts that form the contemporary subject on both individual and collective levels: from the identity policy and post-colonial optics to the language as technology that form our culture and ideology in the currently present digital world, the quest of this work is infiltrated by the search for new meanings, perspectives and connections.

Eremos is an audiovisual set and installation that gives voice to the profound crises of our time - ecological, existential, and socio-political - by posing questions through the evocative image of the desert. Instead of prescribing solutions, it frames the desert as both a warning and a space for imagining possible alternatives, encouraging reflection on the urgent issues facing our world.

“Desert Island” is an electroacoustic piece with a single sound source, which comes out as noise that appears between disconnected wires. Starting with a war for free will in Ukraine, the album channels rupture and tension but cannot be circumscribed by them.

Developed through Max/MSP and live improvisation, Desert Islands resists fixed form,  aiming nothing but to be transformed into a field of pure becoming, where sound unfolds its own logic beyond representation, to articulate the movement itself.

fatigue_class-42.jpg

The multimedia interactive performance “Class Fatigue” explores such a symptom of modern society as fatigue.

Following the French philosopher Jean Baudrillard, we see fatigue as a hidden form of protest against the existing social order with its focus on success and productivity, and alienation of individuals bereft of choice.

“Zero Night” is an audiovisual project by intermedia artists Mike Iv and Snezhana Reizen, working in the fields of generative visuals and experimental electronic music.

Inheriting a counting system of “Arabian Nights,” Zero Night would be that of an untold story. Zero as a non-historic one, a topological landscape, or “x,” escaping grids and mappings.

“Affectology” is an intermedia beat-disoriented project by sound artists Snezhana Reizen (Rzeng) and Michał Krajczok(GAŁGAŁ) and visual artist Mike IV exploring phenomena of affects and affective involvement through various media in improvisational sessions.

a beat - disoriented project by sound artist Snezhana Reizen on the verge of the alternative club scene.

Antenna is a series of works on transduction with the sole sound source taking place - radio waves. Here I was devoured (engulfed) by discontinuity and discharge inherent to the "miracle of the wireless. the omnipresence.. the overleaping of frontiers” - the radio, like it was marked by R. Arnheim.

“Lost Letter” is an electroacoustic piece, commissioned by Radio Concrete at British Extra Resonance, informed by desperate seeking of connection in disconnection, beauty in noise, and meaning of life full of war.

Maya Pennington & Snezhana Reizen are a duo of sonar adventurers, “sounders of the depths”, dancing on the borders of discovered and imagined.

In their improvisational sessions, they mingle together experimental electroacoustics with postindustrial, jazz with ambient, noise with voice, sob with splash, sonically embodying elements and phenomena from the natural world - all forms of void and matter.

Music for film by Karina Baratova, which recreates, within her film, a setting of an Iranian beach. The word “Zolf”, translated from Farsi, means "lock of hair". It is also the title of the hidden protest song by Mohsen Namjoo, Iran's Dylan on the lute, based on the 14th-century poem by the Persian poet Hafez of Shiraz.

Music for a film by Karina Baratova, which refers to the book “The Woods (Hyle)” by the philosopher Vladimir Bibikhin, in which he describes the forest as a living substance and the person in it. Bibikhin argues that although most of human society no longer lives in forests or close to them, our existence is still profoundly linked to them.

I was passing thirteens

Music for an animation by visual artist Nadia Dikun, unfolding the poem of the same title by the famous Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko. The poem addresses his most sacred and intimate memories from childhood and the first love, free of possession, the bliss he felt as if in God’s hands, and despair about the world  full of wars and oppression that ruined this bliss and left him homeless.

an audio album that was recorded fully with analogue synthesisers in order to simulate natural sounds, to create a bridge between immanent and transcendental.

Only descending to Earth, angels gain wings.

an audio album that examines the capacities of natural cycles in a synthetic environment and elaborates on the theme of ice not only as a major threat to humanity in the context of global warming but also as a symbol of stasis with potential for change. It is an atmospheric, polyrhythmically structured canvas with micro-processes integrated within a hyper-object.

an audio album that develops romantic ideas of Percy Bysshe Shelley by means of electronic music played with a very limited analogue equipment.

"Our boat is like an albatross, whose nest is the distant Eden in the crimson East; and we will nestle between its wings, while Day and Night, Hurricane and Calm continue their flight "

an audio album by Rzeng. Being confused by the questions of the phenomenon of consciousness, through multi-layered rhythm calls and phase shifts, the album narrates about the mind that moves in parallel with the whole universe, listening to the stars with such romantic longing as if it were homesickness.

An audio album drawing on the themes of distance, alienation of events and feelings from language intended to designate them, self-suspension and self-suspicion in the acts of representations.  Through subtle noise pulsations, straying into glitches, and insane polyrhythmic structures, it sublimates internal tension, expanding harmonic dissonances, and moments of transparency and silence amid market noise.

XXXX is an audio album that renders dark industrial shamanism with thorny glitch reign and is arranged as a trip or a journey to the edge of the night. On the way, the arrogant rider of consciousness plunges into sleep, drops the reins, and now the horse of the unconscious chooses its own path in a velvet emptiness.
